Frosting experiments have been conducted in the wind tunnel shown in the photo. This wind tunnel has the air temperature, humidity, air flow rate controlled and monitored. In the test section, there is a cold plate connected to an outside chiller, and its surface temperature was controlled. Frost grows on the cold plate and images can be captured by CCD camera from the side and top.
